Unmanned Vehicles to Support IOOS Mission

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) invited Zdenka Willis, Director, US IOOS, to present at their annual AUVSI Unmanned Systems Program Review in Washington D.C. on February 7-9, 2012.
This event provides up-to-date overviews and information on government and industry programs for air, ground and maritime systems. Several top military and civilian government agencies, including NOAA, were invited this year to present and connect with industry. Mrs. Willis provided a unique look into the IOOS program, focusing on the use of unmanned vehicles to support the IOOS mission.
